With 3 campuses, 14 partnerships, and an average attendance of around 20,000 each Sunday morning, North Point Ministries is succeeding in its mission to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. According to media director Brad Bretz, who leads a team of seven people that is responsible for the look and feel of video elements for Sunday morning services, North Point Ministries is accomplishing this goal by creating relevant and relatable environments that encourage church members and visitors alike to attend worship services on a regular basis. Bretz credits stock music as a crucial element needed to leave a lasting impression at all of the ministries' churches. Several years ago, Bretz was flipping through a magazine and discovered an advertisement for the Blue Fuse Music stock music library, which is now available on RoyaltyFreeMusic.com. Intrigued, he decided to check out the Blue Fuse Music site. It was there that he discovered Blue Fuse Music's Undertones series. Bretz was instantly attracted to the series: "I don't look for music with a specific style. I am more concerned about finding stock music that helps create emotion. The Undertones series is very original and very now and is perfect for what we are trying to accomplish". Bretz immediately began to incorporate stock music from the Blue Fuse Music library into projects for North Point Ministries and continues to do so today.
About 3 years ago, North Point Ministries decided to remove the weekly church announcements from its worship services, launching the Ten Before brand. Ten Before is a 5 to 10 minute video segment featuring church announcements that is aired just minutes before worship services begin. Each week, Bretz and a 7 member media team produce 3 different versions of the Ten Before , one for each of North Point Ministries' three churches. "We need all different types of stock music for the Ten Before . It's important that the brand of music fits the host of the Ten Before for each church. We are constantly looking for new music that doesn't sound corporate and is relevant to our congregations. We use the Blue Fuse Music library for about seventy-five percent of the music in the Ten Before because it is so current and so relevant", Bretz states. Every year, North Point Ministries updates the Ten Before brand, incorporating new stock music and other elements to keep its congregations interested and engaged in church events.
