The original tracks of royalty free piano music found on Contemporary Piano Themes were produced to reflect the broad diversity of musical styles; jazz, pop, and neo-classical in which the acoustic piano is found, as well as the various playing techniques and approaches utilized in its performance. Contemporary Piano Themes was created to be used in a variety of production music, background music and music on hold applications and is a valuable addition to any stock music library.

The eighteen tracks found in this royalty free collection of piano music feature live, premier performances by top studio musicians and the superb audio quality found throughout the album will meet the standards of today's video production professionals, directors, producers and editors. Keeping Time builds on a quiet, metronome-like piano theme that keeps an eye on the clock and will underscore visuals that are task or time-centered. Also included is a more energetic jazz version. Quiet Reflections begins as a tentative, delicate piano theme and blossoms into a dramatic expression before gently drifting back to the original piano theme. A solo piano version is also included. Jazz Smoothie features piano in a smooth jazz setting with light background vocals. Three versions of this theme are available affording the producer a range of choices. Tender Moments, thoughtful piano based theme with strings and horns ponders, questions and finally resolves the issue at hand. Vision showcases a jazz-tinged arrangement with an infectious melody that provides an optimistic setting for a wide spectrum of visuals. An underscore is also included. Freedom Flight flies high with an orchestral score and lyrical piano theme that express a sense of independence and excitement. Romance features a quiet piano and orchestra theme that begins tentatively and builds to a romantic conclusion in classic Hollywood style. Allegro is an orchestral driven adventure with piano that soars and inspires hope throughout its musical journey. For those who prefer the rhythmic background only, an underscore is included. And finally, Brand New Day exudes optimism and the beginnings of a new venture in a medium tempo arrangement of pop and jazz.
